KAP 2016 : Hari Ketujuh

Alhamdulillah biiznillah. *yawn*. Allah... Acik Mira is really sleepy today. Just need to have a cup of hot chocolate (perghhh coklat kau) and then straight to bed. Haha. Bila dah atas katil, haramlah mata ni nak pejam, then mulalah sesi stalk sana sini. ish ish ish.  
Okey, tonight, Acik Mira just want to update the class for today. Yup, Friday! We did a replacement class for this Sunday's session. There will be another two (2) Friday for the class, instead Saturday-Sunday. So, just let it goooo! Let it gooooo. hahaha. 

Alhamdulillah, Acik Mira is not yet working, so bolehlah isi dan korbankan masa yang ada untuk kelas ni. Walaupun dalam hati meronta nak kerja sangat-sangat, tidak mengapa, Allah knows the best. Just keep calm, and wait for that best to come.

Okey, today class, we learnt about SOP Taska, Cipta alat bantuan mengajar, Keperluan kanak-kanak istimewa. 

1. SOP (Standard of Procedures) Taska
Dalam sesi pertama ni, disampaikan oleh Puan Mastorah. Beliau menerangkan respective SOPs that we all need to know for us to work/open/manage a child care. After done our 'CIRCLE TIME', we started our 1st session of class with some activities regarding this SOPs subject.

Divided ourselves into 3 groups (basically the Host Team that we already being divided to), then we were given scenarios to lakon semula. hahaa. Sorry for the Malay-English in Acik Mira's entry. For my group, we need to show/explain/act the situation 'Welcome the children to child care' / 'Waktu kanak-kanak datang ke taska'. So in this scenario, some of us need to be the 'pengasuh/pendidik', pengusaha, children, and parents. Haha. guess what Acik Mira play role of? Hahaha. I'm becoming a mother. Oh Allah, you know how I love acting/act/drama all that, kan? hehe. 

To welcome the children to child care (taska), what are SOPs involved? Yes, 'nanny (pengasuh)/pendidik) greet the children and parents, smile to them, do a body-check of the children in front of parents, ask and know the condition of the children on that day (sick/fever/etc), how to handle children that cry and dont want to go to the child care, how to handle parents that love to gossip with you, etc. So we all have to include all these elements in our acting. Jika ada kurang mana-mana, Puan Mastorah will add and guide us.

Group no.2 need to do the scenario : "Circle Time". They had to do the real circle time among themselves. What are the SOPs involved in Circle time? We need to divide the children from 'Big Group' into 'Small group'. Apa itu kumpulan besar dan aktiviti yang macam mana kita boleh laksanakan dengan mereka? Biasanya, kumpulan besar ni adalah merangkumi semua peringkat umur kanak-kanak yang ada di taska, kecuali bayi. Kita kumpulkan mereka, dan kita lakukan circle time dalam kumpulan besar. Dalam kumpulan besar ini juga, kita akan nyanyi dan menari sama-sama, naikkan semangat patriotisme dengan nyanyian lagu negaraku, dan sedikit senaman ringan. Kalau dah advance kanak-kanaknya, boleh selitkan lagu PERMATA sekali.

Selepas aktiviti circle time dalam kumpulan besar, barulah kanak-kanak akan berbaris dan masuk ke dalam kelas/kumpulan ikut range umur mereka. Inilah yang dinamakan kumpulan kecil. Dalam kumpulan kecil ni, aktiviti pembelajaran bermula. Pengasuh/pendidik pandai-pandailah carry out the activities such as : tanya khabar kanak-kanak sorang-sorang, benarkan mereka bercerita/berinteraksi/bertanya/bersembang dengan kita dan kawan sebelah tentang apa sahaja. We must encourage them to socialize and to communicate with others. Cakap, jangan pendam. Dan, jangan halang kanak-kanak itu bercerita, nanti akan timbul satu rasa dalam diri mereka perasaan tidak yakin kerna keinginan mereka dihalang tanpa sebab. So, layankan aja mereka. Circle time tak lama, dalam 5-10 minit pun dah memadai. Then, barulah boleh buat aktiviti as plan in the RPA yang sudah dirancang. 

Group no.3 need to do : "Waktu makan". What are the SOPs need for this 'waktu makan'? How we want to train the children to be as independent as they can in order to manage themselves during meal time (breakfast/lunch/dinner). So, kumpulan ni tunjukkan situasi kanak-kanak ke ruang makan, basuh tangan, beratur, duduk dengan tertib, baca doa dan makan. Sesudah makan, baca doa selepas makan, bangun, beratur basuh tangan, dan bergerak dalam tertib ke kelas/ruang aktiviti. Kumpulan ni sangat funny sebab children nya sangat hyperactive. Kasihan pendidik tu nak layan mereka, semuanya pula tu hyperactive. hahaha. jenuhlah weyhh. I do record all the presentation/acting that we done, tapi leceh pula nak upload sini. Jadi simpanan sendiri aje. Lawak bila tengok balik. haha



Kumpulan 3 - waktu makan

2. Cipta Alat Bantuan mengajar
This session, kami kena create set alatan mengajar/mainan yang akan digunakan untuk aktitviti nanti. Kerja ni berdasarkan kerja kumpulan, we need to create 4 types of that 'thing' according to the respective range of children' age. Acik Mira's group have to cater for 3-4 years old children. Jadi, kami kena cipta 4 set alatan bantuan mengajar yang terdiri daripada buku 3D (fannel/board), set alatan main peranan (cth : main masak-masak, doktor-doktor, anak patung), alat muzik, alatan untuk perkembangan fizikal. 

Dengan menggunakan bahan terbuang/terpakai, we need to create all the things mentioned. Tadi kami sempat siapkan topi nurse, stetoskop, marakas (muzik), gitar (muzik). Ada banyak lagi yang kena siapkan, insyaallah nanti sambung. Kena hantar last day of this kursus. Bukan kena cipta bahan ja, kena juga siapkan folio (ikut format diberi) untuk setiap alatan bahan yang telah dihasilkan. Banyak betul kerjanya, tapi sebenarnya fun. Kat sini, baru nampak jelas kreatif nya sahabat-sahabat yang lain.

3. "Keperluan Kanak-Kanak istimewa" 
Sesi ini disampaikan oleh Puan Anne (tenaga pengajar yang sama untuk Perkembangan Fizikal yang lepas). Puan Anne ni memang expertise dalam kanak-kanak kelainan upaya (istimewa) as she open up a child care special for these kids.

She shared a lot of experiences, tips, and each type of these children. If Autism, what and how to detect/manage them. Same goes to Down Syndrome, cerebral palsy (masalah otak- yang ni sangat kasihan. Tengok anak-anak yang dihantar ke taska Puan Anne pun sedih je), hyperactive, and many more. We learnt one by one, and deep inside me, respect gila to all the parents, nanny (pengasuh) that took care of these kind of children. Tahap kesabaran yang mereka miliki sangat hebat kot. Allah......

Aktiviti kumpulan kami untuk sesi ini adalah melakonkan ketidakupayaan yang kanak-kanak ada, agar kami faham dan tahu jenis kelainan upaya yang dimiliki kanak-kanak istimewa ini. Ada lagi dua aktiviti berkumpulan yang kami lakukan, but more to theory, so tak perlulah explain lebih-lebih. haha.




That's all we had for the class today. No RPA to do and submit. Tomorrow, yes, we will learn a new stage of 'perkembangan kanak-kanak' and do RPA for that. Hopefully, everything goes smooth, aminn allahumma aminn.

I really had fun today. Banyak gelak, ketawa dan hilang semua ilmu. haha. gurau-gurau. I start to love all my friends here. Each of us have our own goodness and weaknesses, that make we complete each other. Oh My! Poyo nye ayat. haha.

And Acik Mira also hopes that, ayam masak kunyit esok will be awesomely tasty. hahaha. Kami kena bawa lauk sorang sikit dan makan sama-sama time lunch. Sweet sangat kan. haha. Today, Acik Mira just bring telur dadar (letak bawang, daun bawang, cabai merah, mayonis). Sedap juga, walaupun hanya telur je. haha. At least, Acik Mira bawa juga lauk tau. hahaha.
